Human Charity is an empowerment and support organization that offers family support and youth services in our USA-based programs. We additionally provide transportation services for the elders, disabled, and others in need.
Our programs are centered around preventing youth gang activities by providing mentorship to the youth and their parents and working in coordination with schools, law enforcement, and local security agencies.
Human Charities recognizes that for our youth to realize their potential and life opportunities, they must be free of hunger, fear, and loneliness.
We are dedicated to providing support in relieving the stressors that often cause our youth to seek friendship within gangs.
For life to be beautiful, each child must believe in their potential.

Agroforestry
By providing educational and logistical support in the agricultural efforts of agroforestry, the impact of our change will result in increased employment, specifically for youth and women; fruit tree development providing nutritional sustenance, reduction of soil erosion, and carbon emissions.
The expected outcome provides opportunities for increased nutrition; overall wellness will be increased, reducing the risk of famine-based weakness and illness. The improved healthfulness of the family enables increased adult work production and educational retention in the children.

Animal Husbandry
The increasing demand for animal products for consumption poses critical importance to the animal agricultural system. In Kenya and other African regions, the livestock sector contributes to a family’s economic stability and daily nutrition by providing a source of milk. Smallholder dairying and pastoralism are significantly important for households utilizing small-scale dairy activities.
Human Charities provides educational support, modern methods of livestock management, including nutrition, genetics applied to breeding, farm animal production, and the use of animal waste in compost development for enhancing soil conditions.
By assisting with sustainable farming and livestock management, we provide the knowledge necessary for a lifetime of economic and nutritional stability.
Agriculture
By providing support to small land portion farmers, and the overall agricultural workforce in Africa, Human Charity can impact the knowledge of advanced agricultural methods and technologies, increase their access to agricultural resources, and connect them to markets including commercial and private sector opportunities.
The program fosters key activities around nutrition-sensitive agriculture and pastoralism at the household level that can increase the availability, access, and utilization of nutritious foods. This program is specifically designed to uplift the youth and women with opportunity.

We are working to eliminate hunger in various regions of Africa, including Kenya, Somali, Ethiopia, and Rwanda.

Joint Research Project. Human Charity is currently in partnership with the University of Michigan and the University of Minnesota to conduct a joint research project aiming to improve colorectal cancer screening for Somali women.
